Good morning, I hope you had a lovely half term! I would like you to write a recount about something that you have done this week.
Please remember to:
- write in first person (my, I, me, we, our)
- use adjective to help describe what you have done
- use some adventurous word choices (wow you audience!)
- use full stop and capital letter correctly, as well as other punctuation
- use a variety of sentence starters (time, place, adverbial)
- use different sentence rules
On Friday, after school I went on holiday to Pontins in Southport with my family. It was incredible. We went swimming as soon as we got there.
I went to the farm and mucked out the most disgusting pony on yard worst thing ever it was freezing my feet where like ice and the best thing was I went to my dads and got changed out of my freezing cloths got in my pj’s saw my dogs then had a hot coco mmmmmmm.
Last Thursday, I went to the sea life centre in manchester. It was amazing.
Last Saturday I went to an indian restaurant with my family, for my uncles birthday. The food was gorgeous and the desert was even better. When we arrived I saw a wonderful water fountain with bright lights under the water it splashed it was gigantic. There was also chairs that were like thrones with patterns on them. Overall the best thing about it was spending time with my family.
